Register TODAY to take part in this annual run and fundraiser! You don't have to be from Muncy to run! Fun for all ages!
Don’t be ghoulish, come join the Organization of Parents and Teachers (OPT) on SATURDAY, October 28 as they will be hosting the 13th Annual Monster Dash 5K Run/Walk and Kids’ 1 Mile Fun Run in Muncy, Pa. This is the school’s biggest fundraiser of the year!
There are 2 races you can choose from! The races will take place around the historical town of Muncy. The race will begin at Ward L. Myers Elementary School, 125 New Street. Please see the map of the routes.
The 5k, timed and untimed, you pick, is for all ages! Strollers are welcomed! No pets, please. There will be route guides along the race’s loop to guide all runners.
The Kids’ 1 Mile Fun Run for is mainly for students 12 and under. There will be optional obstacles on the first 1 mile loop. If you feel your child needs an adult to make it through the first one mile safely, please join them as the Monster Dash is not liable for them. There will be route guides along the race’s loop to guide all runners.
The 5k will begin first at 9:30am and the Kids’ 1 Mile Fun Run will follow shortly after.
Proceeds from this event will be used to continue to support school-wide programs, activities and supplies offered to the students of Ward L. Myers Elementary School. Some specific events this race will support include, but not limited to: classroom field trips for students K-6, school shirts to promote school pride, school dances, Santa Shop, prizes for holiday art contest, the spelling bee, educational concerts and assemblies, field day, banners around the outside of the school, and end of the year activities.
Gather your family and friends and join us for a spooky good time! Wear a costume or your Monster Dash shirt the day of the race!
Please use the provided links to sign up for the race of choice. Each registrant will get a long sleeve shirt. The last day to register online is October 26th. You may register in person on race day, October 28th. Please come between 8-9am to do so.

This is event is open to the public. The Kid's Run is for children 12 and under.
