Description
The Williamsport Municipal Water Authority and its partnering organizations at the Waterdale Environmental Education Center invite the public to walk our beautiful Watershed Trails and visit Waterdale Lodge as part of the state-wide “Walk in Penns Woods Day” on October 1, 2017.
Waterdale Lodge will be open with exhibits from 12:30 pm until 4:00 pm at the end of Waterdale Road just off Mosquito Valley Road south of Duboistown (see map link below).
A guided Bird and Nature Trail walk hosted by Lycoming Audubon will take place at Waterdale Lodge at 2 PM, and pamphlets will be available for self-guided walks. Trail maps for the Bluebird and Raccoon Mountain Trails which can be accessed from the end of Mosquito Valley Road a short distance away will also be provided.
Please come and see how our beautiful preserved and protected watershed helps to provide clean and abundant public water supply to the Greater Williamsport Area.
