Get excited about Summer Camp with Bloomsburg Children's Museum!  If you are looking for some fun day camps and activities for your child(ren), check out the camps that Bloomsburg Children's Museum is offering! Hurry, spaces are filling up quickly!  Some camps are even sold out!

There are many options available for children of all ages!  


Preschool Aged Summer Camps


PreK A Little Artsy

Art brings imagination to life! Bring your little artist to class so they can explore their creative side! With summertime art themes, this will be a class you don’t want to miss! For children ages 2-5, an adult is required to stay with their child for the duration of this class.

PreK A Little Artsy takes place June 5-June 9 from 10:00-11:00 am


PreK Dinosaur Discoveries

Ready, set, RAWR for Dinosaurs! Join Miss Brooke as campers travel back in time and learn about the amazing giants that roamed the land. Kids will travel through time with their imaginations while learning science. For children ages 2-5, an adult is required to stay with their child for the duration of this class..

PreK Dinosaur Discoveries will take place on June 26-June 30 from either 8:30-9:30 am or 10:00-11:00 am.


PreK Under the Sea

Join Miss Brooke this summer and dive right into this summer camp. Preschool campers will dip their toes in the sea, explore the depths of the ocean, make friends with a squid and cuddle an octopus...without even getting wet or jumping into a submarine! Every day will be an exploration of a different part of our beautiful oceans and the creatures that live there!

PreK Under the Sea will take place on July 31-August 4 from either 8:30-9:30 am or 10:00-11:00 am. 


School Aged Summer Camps


Maker Camp II

Calling all Makers ages 6-14! This fun hands-on camp focuses on building students' capacities to use creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through creating some awesome projects! Solder together a light-sensing bug - Use the laser cutter to make a night light – engineer the perfect racecar - create a creature in CAD software and print it out on a 3D printer – hone your woodworking skills making a candy dispenser. All these projects and more!

Maker Camp II takes place June 5-June 9 from 1:00-4:00 pm. 


Painting & Drawing Camp I

Your young artist's ages 6-12 will scribble, splatter, and create! Have fun while learning the basics (and beyond) of drawing! Use pencils, pen and ink, markers, oil pastels and other drawing tools to turn simple lines and shapes into amazing artwork. From using teeny tiny to larger than life, we will be exploring every surface using brushes, pencils, and the unexpected! Presented by Art Space member and artist Sara Mika.

Painting & Drawing Camp I takes place June 12-June 16 from 10:00 am- 1:00 pm.

MythBusters Camp

Does water conduct electricity? Are dog mouths cleaner than humans' mouths? How many balloons does it take to lift a house? Are no two fingerprints alike? Can the sun really cook food?

This week campers ages 6-12 will investigate these questions and more by formulating and running experiments to try and disprove some of the most common myths.

MythBusters Camp takes place June 19-June 23 from 10:00-1:00 pm

Art with Anne I

Join Anne Cosper, Bloomsburg resident, Art Cart Facilitator, life long artist who really likes the creative process for this week-long summer camp! The only thing better than making things? Making things with other people! Make sure you put your creative caps on! Ages 6-12

Anne will be teaching two sessions of Art with Anne; each will be a little bit different.

Art with Anne takes place on June 26-June 30 from 1:00- 4:00 pm. 


3D Printing- Toy Design

Walk through the engineering design process to create your own toy. Students will brainstorm ideas for toys, create a 3D design of their project in a CAD program, learn how to troubleshoot their design for production and print out a final version of their creation to take home. Ages 9+

3D Printing-Toy Design takes place on July 5-July 7 from 6:00-8:00 pm.

Maker Camp- What Can You Make?

Join RTI and the Defense STEM Education Consortium for this NEW Maker Camp! TIES operates a STEM-on-the-GO Mobile Digital Fabrication/Machining Van which is coming to the Bloomsburg Children's Museum for a week-long summer camp!  During the van’s visit to the Museum, the students will be engaged in solving real-world STEM challenges using the Engineering Design Process while learning how to use design software and the digital fabrication and machining equipment in the van. During this camp, students will create their own mandalas and use them to create a lantern they will also design and manufacture their own stop rockets. Designed for students ages 9+. The Van is a Ford E450 box van equipped with Digital Fabrication and Machining equipment. Including a laser cutter, 3D printer, CNC router, band saw, MIG welder, lathe, grinder, and other hand tools.

Maker Camp-What Can You Make takes place on July 10-July 14 from 10:00 am -1:00 pm.


Brick by Brick: Building A Lego Amusement Park

 Welcome to the thrilling world of our Lego Amusement Park Summer Camp! Get ready for a week filled with creativity, imagination, and endless fun as we embark on an exciting adventure through the land of Lego.

Campers ages 6-12 will enter a colorful and vibrant amusement park specially designed with Lego bricks. Our classroom will be transformed into a magical Lego wonderland, where every corner holds a new surprise and opportunity for building and play.

Brick by Brick: Building a Lego Amusement Park takes place on July 10-July 14 from 2:00-5:00 pm.

Snack Attack Camp

Dive into the world of cooking, baking, and, most importantly, eating! Campers will learn safety, measuring, the importance of trying new things, and learning to appreciate different types and styles of food while learning about the MyPlate good guide. Children will explore farm-to-table foods. This isn’t your typical cooking class; creativity is a must, as well as a strong desire to learn about the world beyond! Ages 6-12

If there are any dietary restrictions or allergies, please make a note of them. We will accommodate your child accordingly.

Snack Attack Camp takes place July 24-July 28 from 10:00 am-1:00 pm.

Stop Motion Animation Camp

Learn the art of stop motion animation with the materials of your choice. Choose Legos, clay, or anything else you can put your hands on. You’ll have the chance to make more than one film so you can try them all. As you build with Legos and sculpt with clay, you’ll be learning the basics of stop motion animation, fluid movement, dramatic structure, how to score your film and share it with the world. Future animators, your career starts here. Ages 6+

Stop Motion Animation Camp takes place August 7-August 11 from 10:00 am -12:00 pm.

Digital Arts Camp

Can’t decide whether you like animation, film, or robotics best? Then try Digital Arts. This camp is Box Of Light’s digital smorgasbord. Every day has a different challenge. We’ll cover claymation, green screen, film, digital books, and robotics. Sculpt, build, film, program, and hang with your tribe. Maybe one of these processes will be your future career. Give them all a taste in Digital Arts. Ages 8+

Digital Arts Camp takes place August 7-August 11 from 1:00-3:00 pm.

American Girl Summer Camp

This is a fun-filled, one-of-a-kind camp that encourages creativity and is packed with a variety of dynamic memory-making activities for students aged 6-12! This camp is not about “playing with dolls", it is more about a shared passion and enthusiasm for creative and artistic expression that is so dynamic in all of our girls. This camp builds friendships, memories, and teamwork. Our American Girls have a lot of pizzazz and we encourage their unique gifts and talents during this very special week. We know every young girl is a creative artist, engineer, architect, and visionary at heart! Above all, all our girls are STARS!

American Girl Summer Camp takes place on August 14-August 18 from 10:00 am-1:00 pm.
