Every Monday, Macaroni Kid Williamsport shares five things to do with your kids in the Williamsport Area over the coming week.

Here are Macaroni Kid Williamsport's picks for the five things to do in the Williamsport Area with kids 8/9/21-8/15/21. Click on the links for all the details.

Last week, Macaroni Kid Williamsport recommended fun-sounding events that were happening around Williamsport!  Well, this week looks like it is going to be a scorcher πŸŒ‘οΈβ˜€οΈ!  So, we are recommending 5 water parks within a two hour drive of Williamsport and that won't break the bankπŸ’°!

⛱️ 1. Laguna Splash Water Park at DelGrosso's Amusement Park

Laguna Splash Water Park is a great family destination for the day and is about an hour and a half drive from Williamsport.  I can't believe how much the water park has grown and changed over 20 years!  Visit Laguna Splash Water Park: "Our extensive Italian-themed Laguna Splash Water Park includes a lazy river, wave pool, and many interactive features. You’ll find a replica of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, tipping wine barrels, and much more... making it the best water park around."-from the website.  Check their website for hours of operation.

🌊 2. Montage Mountain Water Park

This made the list because this Wednesday they have their $10.00 swim day!  Enjoy this AMAZING water park.  From the owners: "Take on the excitement of the Tundra Tornado, relax in the Lazy River, or hit the mat racer slides with friends, Montage Mountain Waterpark has something for everyone. Our family-oriented waterpark is affordable, convenient and fun for all ages."  This water park is a little over an hour and half drive from Williamsport.  Worth the drive!  Check their website for hours and ticket information.

🏊 3. Crystal Pool at Knoebels Amusement Resort

Take the kids to Crystal Pool for a fun day of swimming! This pool offers many fun activities: they have the big pool, water slides, climbing nets,  a kiddie area, a beach shack for food, and they offer some amenities as well.  This is a short drive and reasonable in pricing!  Only $8.00/$6.00 (swimming only) or $13.50/$11.50 (swimming and slides).  Be sure to check their website for hours of operation!

🩱 4.  Duke's Lagoon at Dutch Wonderland

This makes the list because you can go as a family pf 4 for $42.99 during the week.  Your tickets get you into their theme park and water park!  The water park is perfect for kids! "Duke's Lagoon features a multi-level waterplay platform, kid-sized slides, a variety of spray nozzles, jets, tipping cones, and a large tipping bucket. The area also includes a lounge area in keeping with the tropical paradise theme of Duke's Lagoon, which includes palm trees, thatched umbrella shaded areas and plenty of seating. Join our favorite dragon friend in his very own pacific themed paradise!"-from the owners.  Check their https://www.dutchwonderland.com/dukes-lagoon for ticket information and hours.

🏞️ 5. World's End State Park

This is not a water park, but it is a fun place to cool off and enjoy the natural beauty around you!  Located on Route 87, you will find this cute swimming spot in the Loyalsock Creek!  And GUESS WHAT?  It is FREE!  You can bring your OWN food, and stay as long as you wish (well until dusk).

You will notice I didn't include any of the big name waterparks.  Why, you ask?  Well, they are a tad expensive and I wanted to give you alternatives to places to go that are just as fun and that don't cost an arm and a leg!
