Every Monday, Macaroni Kid Williamsport shares five things to do with your kids in the Williamsport Area over the coming week.

Here are Macaroni Kid Williamsport's picks for the five things to do in the Williamsport Area with kids 5/3/21-5/9/21.

With the weather getting warmer, I decided to do this week's recommendations on 5 places to go for a hike!  Click on the links for all the details!

πŸ₯Ύ 1. Ryder Park

Ryder Park offers 10 miles of trails to hike for various fitness levels.  There are also several picnic areas and pavilions.  Most trails lead to beautiful vistas!

πŸŒ„ 2. R. B. Winter State Park

R.B. Winter State Park has a lot to offer.  You are sure to find a trail to hike here or enjoy the beach area with the kids! R.B. Winter State Park has 6.3 miles of hiking trails to suit all hiking abilities! Our favorite trail is the Rapid Run Nature Trail.

🐿️ 3. World's End State Park

This is a beautiful state park along Loyalsock Creek just south of Forksville!  This park boasts an amazing 20 miles of hiking trails!  Most trails have several rocky sections and have steep sections.  Be sure to wear appropriate footwear.  These trails are more suited for older children.

🧭 4. Ravensburg State Park

A beautiful park that sits along Nippenose Mountain.  This park offers one hiking trail but it runs the length of the park and parallels to Rauchtown Run.

πŸ“· 5. Little Pine State Park

Little Pine State Park offers over 10 miles of hiking trails.  This park, on the list, has the most trails for younger hikers to enjoy.  A short drive from Williamsport, but worth it!  Be sure to pack a lunch or enjoy one of the many local restaurants!
