🌳 1. Visit Wayne Township Nature Park
Located just off the McElhattan/Woolrich exit (exit 116) is this gem of a park. This is a fantastic place to go any time of year, but the spring offers the visitor some glimpses of the spring renewal! There is plenty to do while you are here. Be sure to pack a lunch so you can enjoy this park for the whole day!
🚴♀️ 2. Go on a Bike Ride
Visit one of the many bike paths in our area. Our favorite is the River Walk or Buffalo Valley Rails to Trails. The River Walk offers views of the Susquehanna River and the beautiful mountains. The Buffalo Valley Rails Trail runs from Lewisburg to Mifflinburg. Depending on where you park or how far you get, you can enjoy some ice cream at the Purple Cow!

🏞️ 4. Take a CD (country drive)
Load up the family, pack a lunch, and hit the road! Our family loves to take "CD's", as my husband calls them. One of our favorite drives to do is out to Rose Valley Lake or up Route 87 to World's End State Park.
🍃 5. Visit Montour Preserve
Another favorite activity of ours is heading to Montour Preserve. A little hidden gem in our area for sure! You can explore the fossil pit, enjoy a nice walk, or take in the sights and sounds of Lake Chillisquaque. Visit their website for more information and for a park map.
