Every Monday, Macaroni Kid Williamsport shares five things to do with your kids in Williamsport over the coming week. I am getting creative with sharing things to do in Williamsport, so this time I will be suggesting things to do outside in the ice and snow!
Here are Macaroni Kid Williamsport's picks for the five things to do in the Williamsport Area with kids.
1. Ice skate on your driveway
Hey, sometimes it's hard to get the ice off your driveway. Instead of struggling, let your kids ice skate in their boots!
2. Paint the ice/snow
Snow can look awful after several weeks. Mix up some warm water with some food coloring or paint. Then place in a spray bottle or squeeze bottle. Give to your kids and let the fun begin!
3. Belly Slide/Be a Penguin
When the snow is too icy for a traditional sled, have your kids pretend to be a penguin! They can slide on their bellies and will have so much fun!
4. Break out the sidewalk chalk
Get the sidewalk chalk out and a hammer or mallet. Your kids will have fun trying to draw on the ice, or they can smash it and make some abstract art! They can also smash the ice with a mallet or hammer.
5. Climb a mountain of snow/ice
One of my kids' favorite things to do in the snow is "climb a mountain." Your kids can pretend they are going on an expedition up Everest.
