Every Monday, Macaroni Kid Williamsport shares five things to do with your kids in the Williamsport Area in Pennsylvania over the coming week.
Here are Macaroni Kid Williamsport's picks for the five things to do in and near Williamsport with kids. Click on the links for more details!
1. Play hide and seek!
This is not the same "hide and seek" you may be thinking of! To play this variation, you just need to get some bath toys or other water-friendly toys and hide them in the snow. Your kids will have snow much fun looking for the toys! They will likely ask you to hide them again.
2. Make snow soup!
A simple and fun activity for the kids to do. Click here to see a list of simple ingredients and kitchen tools your little chefs can use to make their soup. Check out a copy of the story Stone Soup from your local library to help get your kiddos inspired.
3. Paint the snow!
What a fun way to enjoy the snow and make it even more magical! In a spray bottle or squeeze bottle, mix some water with food coloring/watercolors to make your paint. Give to your child and watch their eyes light up with excitement!
4. Look for animal tracks
Finding evidence of animals is so much fun! Go for a nature walk in your backyard and search for deer, squirrel, or dog prints. Click here for an Animal Track Scavenger Hunt.
5. Make hot chocolate
My kids' favorite thing to do after sledding or being in the snow is to have a hot cup of hot cocoa! Simply mix some milk and chocolate syrup. Be sure to add some marshmallows or whip cream!
